Hey, I guess this is where it starts.

I have been sitting on this idea for a while, and it finally feels right to just begin. Nothing perfect, nothing overthought, just showing up and sharing a bit of life as it unfolds.

Jay From Coast is exactly that. It is me, living by the coast, soaking in the simple things and finding meaning in moments that are easy to miss. The ocean, the light, the quiet resets, the random thoughts that pop up when you slow down for a second.

There is something about coastal life that keeps pulling me back to what actually matters. Fresh air, space to think, and that feeling that you do not have to have everything figured out to enjoy where you are.

This space is about that energy. Keeping things light, real, and grounded. Not chasing perfection, just appreciating the small wins, the shifts, and the good that is already here.

More than anything, this is just a place to capture moments as they come and share a bit of the journey along the way.

It started, as all great mistakes do, with an idea that seemed perfectly reasonable at 2:47am. "I'll walk to Mount Coolum," I told no one, because no one was awake to talk me out of it. "Barefoot.
